We are looking for seasonal part time drivers to deliver our Spring, Fall and Christmas flowers to schools throughout Central and Southern Ohio. Foertmeyer and Sons Greenhouse provides school customers with flowers to help raise funds needed for activities, equipment and trip funds. We are the flower fundraising company that 400+ schools rely on three times per year. We are looking for individuals interesting in working a flexible seasonal schedule. This is a great opportunity for retirees, part time students, and individuals just looking to pick up some extra spending cash. Foertmeyer and Sons Greenhouse is located just southwest of Delaware Ohio. We are north of the Columbus Zoo seven miles. At 5311 S. Section Line rd. Delaware, Ohio.

Duties Include:

Safely driving 26' straight trucks from our Greenhouse to the school's delivery site. (No CDL is required.) Unload our rolling flower carts from the truck using the truck's hydraulic lift gate. Assist the school volunteers with help and instruction to properly unload and organize their bulk flower order. Reload and secure the empty flower carts back onto the truck. Confirm with the volunteer chairperson that the order is correct and have them sign necessary paperwork. Return empty carts and trucks back to the greenhouse. Our drivers usually make two deliveries per day. They will drive 6-9 hours per day depending on destination.

Requirements:

Clean driving record. Safe driving skills. Friendly and helpful to customers and staff. Physically fit, able to lift 50 lbs.

Hourly pay rate:
