Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight safely and efficiently across various routes. You will operate tractor-trailers flatbed, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions on local routes, including route driving and delivery driving assignments Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of cargo Navigate using GPS systems to reach destinations efficiently while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards Transport various types of freight including flatbed loads while maintaining safety protocols Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and truck safety standards Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and shipment documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or potential issues Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and recent commercial truck driving experience Proven experience in delivery driving, freight transportation, or logistics cargo handling Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle truck loading/unloading tasks efficiently Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for local routes Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, and safety procedures for commercial trucking Excellent manual handling skills for loading/unloading cargo safely and securely Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver to drive your career forward!
