Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before recovery. Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Perform vehicle recovery towing with expertise in vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, ensuring safe loading onto the tow truck. Load and unload vehicles carefully, adhering to safety standards and manual transmission operation requirements. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during recovery processes and resolving any conflicts professionally. Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle details for record-keeping purposes. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and minor mechanical vehicle troubleshooting. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and understanding of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving and flatbed operations. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks. Skilled in conflict management to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, including manual transmission operation. Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with vehicle recovery towing techniques using tow trucks designed for vehicle mechanics for truck drivers.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TOW TRUCK DRIVER

• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
• Ability to operate under pressure
• Position is primarily outdoors in all weather conditions Mandatory
• Clean Driving Record
