CDL Dump Truck Driver

Overview At Erik's trucking, LLC, we haul sand, gravel, and other construction materials throughout the OKC metro. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience in truck driving, including but not limited to tanker, dump truck, and tractor-trailer operations. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills. We have opportunities for employment in both Crescent, OK and Newcastle, OK. Pay is experience-based, and we offer excellent benefits. Responsibilities Operate and drive dump trucks. Ensure timely delivery of materials to designated locations while following established routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries made. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws while on the road. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license (CDL) with air brakes. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery processes. Ability to operate trucks safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients. Excellent problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise during transport. Commitment to safety protocols and regulations in all driving activities. Previous experience in commercial driving (at least 2 years) is required.
