Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating the facility van to transport passengers and cargo safely and efficiently. This role requires a high level of customer service and the ability to perform heavy lifting duties.Duties:
- Operate a van to transport passengers and cargo.
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre
- and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are safe for operation.
- Provide excellent customer service to all passengers and clients.
- Load and unload cargo and passengers safely and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and vehicle maintenance.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Perform heavy lifting duties as required.
- Drive in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license.
- Experience in driving buses or vans.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to drive in various weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
