Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Flatbed CDL A Company Driver Must Have Moffett ExpExpand embark on exciting over-the-road adventures hauling flatbed freight across the country! This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of specialized equipment, including flatbed trailers, refrigerated units, and tankers, while delivering essential goods efficiently and safely. We're looking for motivated drivers who thrive on route driving, load & unload tasks, and maintaining excellent customer service on every delivery. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across long-distance routes, ensuring timely deliveries. Load and unload freight from flatbed trailers, utilizing forklift or other equipment when necessary. Secure loads properly on flatbeds, including tarping and strapping to prevent shifting during transit. Drive refrigerated trailers or tankers as required, adhering to all safety protocols for temperature control and hazardous materials handling. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo details in compliance with federal regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delivery status, and any issues encountered on the road. Experience Proven truck driving experience with a valid CDL A license, preferably with flatbed, tanker, or refrigerated trailer experience. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently. Prior delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures and route driving across multiple states. Familiarity with freight handling equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus. Knowledge of safety procedures related to flatbed hauling, securing cargo, and working with various trailer types including roll-off trucks. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with freight loading/unloading and trailer inspections.
