Job Description

Regional Groundwork Paving is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our growing team. This position supports paving, grading, excavation, sealcoating, and site development operations throughout the region. Position Title CDL Class A Truck Driver Location Regional Travel occasionally Employment Type Full-Time Pay $18.00 - $26.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Health Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Overtime Advancement Opportunities Job Summary The CDL Class A Driver will safely operate dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and other commercial vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and aggregates to and from job sites. Drivers may assist with paving and construction operations when not actively driving. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles. Haul asphalt, rock, sand, milling, and construction materials. Transport heavy equipment to job sites. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain accurate logs and DOT compliance records. Secure loads in accordance with federal and state regulations. Assist crews with loading, unloading, and basic labor duties as needed. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain clean and professional equipment. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A License. Clean driving record preferred. Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening. Experience operating dump trucks, lowboys, or construction equipment preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations. Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends. Strong work ethic and reliability. Preferred Experience Asphalt paving operations. Construction trucking. Equipment hauling. Aggregate hauling. Heavy civil construction. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely enter and exit commercial vehicles and equipment.
