Sand Springs, OK Job Details Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Safety protocol adherence CDL Full Job Description The Truck Driver will be responsible for driving a company truck to ensure pick-ups and/or deliveries are made safely and on time. This employee will also assist in the loading and unloading process to establish that all parties remain safe and that our products are handled correctly to ensure no damage. Safely transport our products to and from assigned destinations Pick up loads, organize them and tie them down in a safe manner on flatbed trailers Ensure loads are properly secured to prevent damage and any dangerous situations Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries with clients Turn in all signed packing slips and BOL's before end of day Assist customers and contractors with loading/unloading process Perform inspections of the vehicle prior to and following each trip Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, check tire pressure, repairs, etc.) Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in accordance with the weather and road conditions Comply with DOT regulations Perform other job responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, skills and abilities High school diploma or GED equivalent Must be a highly safety-oriented individual Commercial driver's license (CDL) required Experience driving a large company truck Ability to maneuver and back up in a large truck with a flatbed trailer Ability to be alert, focused and detail-orientated Excellent communication skills and customer service skills Physical requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb, reach, bend, push, pull and manage heavy equipment and objects throughout shift. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. This employee will be working in all weather and must have the ability to be prepared for extreme heat and cold.
