Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Class A CDL Flatbed Driver and take on the exciting challenge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers equipped with flatbed trailers, ensuring timely and secure deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. Your expertise in handling freight, managing logistics cargo, and navigating over-the-road (OTR) routes will keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial trucks with flatbed trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, including long-haul and regional deliveries Load, secure, and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring compliance with safety standards and cargo integrity Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and adapt to changing conditions for timely deliveries Transport various types of freight such as building materials, machinery, or hazardous materials (Hazmat), following all hazardous materials regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure truck safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and securing equipment Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly Experience Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with flatbed trailers Familiarity with trucking regulations including
FMCSA, DOT
regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods Hands-on experience with load & unload procedures, truck loading/unloading equipment, and logistics cargo handling Knowledge of manual transmission trucks Prior delivery driver experience on route driving or freight transportation is highly valued Ability to operate GPS navigation systems confidently and adapt to route changes efficiently Join us in delivering excellence on every mile!
