Overview Join our dynamic team as a Wrecker Driver and become a vital part of our vehicle recovery and towing operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, recovering, and towing vehicles using specialized tow trucks, including flatbeds and rollback wreckers. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and customer service will ensure efficient and professional service to our clients. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbeds and heavy-duty wreckers, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs. Secure cargo properly following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks while adhering to safety standards. Perform vehicle recovery towing in various scenarios such as accidents, breakdowns, or illegal parking situations. Maintain detailed records of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle conditions for documentation purposes. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and ensuring their needs are met professionally. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in rollback and flatbed operations. Proven mechanical knowledge. Strong understanding of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading procedures. Experience car towing techniques using tow trucks or wreckers. Ability to manage conflicts professionally while maintaining safety standards on the road and at recovery sites. Familiarity with manual transmissions and operating heavy-duty tow trucks is preferred. Prior experience in vehicle mechanics for truck drivers or similar roles is a plus.
