Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible (CDL) Driver (Doubles/Maxi) or an experienced driver who has their farm endorsement. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a set of 34-30 maxi trailers transporting freight, agricultural products, and equipment across designated routes intrastate. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles pulling maxi trailers, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load security. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly. Experience Valid CDL with doubles endorsement or experience hauling doubles with your farm endorsement. Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and freight delivery. Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and the operation of pulling doubles/maxi trailers. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and ODOT requirements. Demonstrated ability to operate GPS navigation systems efficiently across diverse routes. Prior doubles hauling/straw a plus; must have a clean driving record and strong safety awareness. Experience driving agricultural equipment/tractors and knowledge of baling/raking hay/straw a definite plus! Join us as a CDL Driver or an experienced farm truck driver with your farm endorsement.
