Class A CDL Driver with Vocational Experience for work in Excavation and Forestry! Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Class A CDL Driver with vocational expertise to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate tractor-trailers and vocational trucks, delivering essential materials and equipment across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with specialized skills in construction material transport, equipment transport, and other material transport. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant transportation while contributing to training programs that enhance team skills and safety awareness. Duties Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers and vocational trucks, Lowboy, Log Truck, Truck and Pup, Truck and Trailer, Etc Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections focusing on air brake systems, tanker attachments, and overall vehicle safety Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, inspection reports, and incident documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Support safety initiatives by conducting routine safety checks, participating in safety meetings, and promoting best practices among team members Experience Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements for tankers and air brakes Proven experience operating tractor-trailers and vocational trucks in a commercial setting Experience with truck driving regulations, safety standards, and compliance procedures Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance routines specific to tractor-trailers and vocational trucks Join us to drive excellence in transportation while sharing your expertise!
