We are looking for a professional CDL A driver who takes pride in safety, accuracy, and customer service. This role is more than driving. You are the face of our company at job sites and customer locations, responsible for delivering materials safely and representing Pacific Fence & Wire's core values of integrity, pursuit of excellence, respect, fiscal responsibility, and accountability. What This Role Is (and Is Not) This role is ideal for someone who: Has experience in flatbed CDL A driving and load securement Is confident interacting with customers on job sites Values a safety‑first mindset and takes ownership of their work Is comfortable working both on the road and in the yard This role is not a fit for someone seeking: Entry‑level driving or a first CDL role A job with no customer interaction A role without physical work or material handling Schedule & Travel

• Monday through Friday, typically 6:00 am
• end of route and can vary
• Opportunities for overtime
• travel required, including overnight routes a few nights per week (no more than 2 consecutive nights or 3 total per week) Key Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL A vehicle in compliance with all regulations Deliver and pick up materials at customer and vendor locations Perform "last mile" deliveries and verify loads against paperwork before departure Communicate with customers regarding delivery timing and site needs Ensure all loads are properly secured prior to transport Load and unload flatbed trailers using forklifts and manual handling Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and maintain equipment Support yard operations, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean, safe environment Accurately document deliveries and maintain clear communication with the team Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with an insurable driving record required 2+ years of flatbed CDL A driving experience strongly preferred Experience with load securement and material handling Forklift certification Current DOT medical card required Strong customer service and communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy with orders and paperwork Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong critical thinking skills Physical & Work Requirements Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the day Comfortable working outdoors and in a warehouse environment Ability to safely operate tools and equipment Pay & Benefits $29•31 per hour, depending on experience Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) Profit sharing Paid time off and paid holidays Education assistance Candidates must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
