Job Description
Job Summary:
Double J is looking for a Class A CDL driver. 3 years experience required for insurance reasons. Also must be able to pull a b train. Hauling lumber locally. Contact John 503-931-8654.Responsibilities:
- Safely drive trucks to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members regarding daily job dispatch
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe driving and site safety
- Complete required paperwork
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL, Class A)
- Three years truck driving experience
- Must be able to pass required drug screening
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is an asset
Skills:
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload cargo as needed
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Ability to drive manual is a plus!
