Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become a vital part of roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient vehicle recovery. Your mechanical aptitude and driving expertise will help keep our roads safe and vehicles moving smoothly. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles Perform vehicle towing, vehicle recovery towing, and cargo securement protocols following safety standards Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before towing Load and unload vehicles carefully using proper techniques to prevent damage, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks Manage commercial truck driving responsibilities with adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate timely vehicle recovery services Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, incidents, and vehicle conditions for record-keeping purposes Skills Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and minor mechanical vehicle repairs Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and car towing procedures Valid commercial driving license with experience in commercial truck driving and safe vehicle operation Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and load & unload procedures for various vehicle types Skilled in conflict management to handle challenging customer interactions professionally Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts when needed for loading or unloading cargo Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, manual transmission operation, and adherence to traffic laws Knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers to troubleshoot basic issues efficiently Embark on a career that combines technical expertise with active problem-solving!
