Whether it is full-service or pre-ordered, the account will be serviced according to the agreed upon conditions. The driver is to maintain a high level of service and customer satisfaction. Compensation This is an hourly position aiming for 40 hours per week.
Start times vary by route:
between 1 AM and 5 AM for Wholesale or 4 AM and 3 PM for Dari Mart. The day ends when the job is done, so flexibility is essential. Requirements Worked in distribution for 1+ years (preferred) Obtained a Class B, airbrake endorsed license in the State of Oregon Maintain a current Medical Card Must have a clean driving record Be able to move 200 lbs of product down the ramp with a hand truck Must have excellent communication skills and connects well with other people Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask Pallet jack / Forklift experience is helpful Problem solve for the good of the company Flexible and works well with change Willingness and ability to learn new skills Ability to drive a manual transmission is a plus Duties & Responsibilities Make deliveries according to route Properly count, inventory, and rotate product Efficiently use handheld with appropriate entries Honestly, receive and handle money from accounts Unload empty cases from truck Perform a daily pretrip DOT truck inspection, maintaining adequate truck fluids (oil, water, fuel, etc.), including refrigeration unit On occasion you will be required to assist in picking and loading your truck Maintain a clean truck When routes are covered, you will assist in the cooler and warehouse Overview This job description covers the main responsibilities but not every detail. Team members should keep work areas clean, help others as needed, work well together, follow management's instructions, and maintain a professional, focused attitude.
