A Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is required for this position. The shift times are 5:30am until approximately 4:00pm, and the work days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays are off). This route only delivers to schools, therefore it will follow the school calendar for the year. The route will not run on holidays or during school breaks (Thanksgiving, winter, spring, and summer). This is a full-time job with health and dental insurance after 60 days, as well as an opportunity for a raise after a 90-day probationary period. Duties include, but are not limited to: Cheerfully greet and talk to customers Obtain and provide information to customers on delivery of product Deliver dairy products to customers on daily routes Rotate customer stock, credit for returns, inventory and order for next delivery The physical requirements include, but are not limited to: Reaching with hands and arms, frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, withstand road shocks and moderate vibrations Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus Other requirements: Must have current and valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Must speak English well enough to take instructions from supervisor and communicate with fellow employees Must understand enough math to verify quantities Able to operate material handling equipment including hand trucks and pallet jacks Able to prioritize tasks throughout the day Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision Please email your resume if you feel you are a good candidate for this job opening.
