Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of various types of trucks, including dump trucks and roll-off trucks. If you have a passion for driving and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks, including dump trucks, side dump trailer, belly dump, and lowboys. Safely load and unload equipment or freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption. Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety. Communicate effectively with dispatcher regarding routes, delays, or issues encountered on the road. Navigate pin drop locations for load information. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience operating different types of trucks such as dump trucks, lowboy, side dump trailer. Ability to load and unload freight efficiently and safely. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Previous experience with equipment operating is preferred.
