Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Regional Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across designated routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate various types of trucks, including landol And step with ramps ensuring timely and safe deliveries throughout your region. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and commitment to excellent service will drive our success. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers along over-the-road (OTR) routes within your designated region Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured according to safety standards Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery routes and meet delivery schedules Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) and dangerous goods following all Hazardous Materials Regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) guidelines Deliver freight accurately to various destinations, maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service during each interaction Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and safety protocols Handle logistics cargo with precision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to load & unload procedures for different types of freight such as refrigerated goods or tanker liquids Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements or other specialized loads preferred Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in regional or OTR settings Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers with manual handling expertise Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck loading/unloading Experience transporting various freight types such as flatbed, machinery and equipment Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently during load & unload operations We're looking for energetic professionals who thrive on movement, safety-mindedness, and delivering excellence every mile.
