Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris across various construction sites and logistical routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to navigate complex routes will ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks equipped with manual transmissions, flatbeds, or trailers for transporting construction materials and freight. Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to truck loading and unloading procedures, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport. Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and hazardous goods handling protocols. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in accordance with regulatory standards. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. Assist with logistics cargo handling, ensuring proper documentation for freight movement and delivery accuracy. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailer units or dump trucks. Familiarity with route driving, delivery driving, and manual handling of freight in various environments. Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) and experience handling dangerous goods safely. Demonstrated ability to operate refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized equipment as needed. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with other relevant certifications preferred But not required. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading.
