Job Description

The Haul Truck Driver is responsible for operating a truck & trailer for transportation of aggregate construction materials to and from jobsites. In this position, the Driver will transport aggregates to various construction sites and haul off rock and dirt as directed. Driver will also work in the shop and yard area to perform maintenance type duties and cleaning on truck as needed. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of equipment/trucks. Key Responsibilities Dispatch daily from our Prineville headquarters to multiple job sites throughout Central Oregon Performs daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines. Keeps accurate log of timecard and appropriate paperwork for billing. Haul various types of aggregate materials Perform minor servicing and maintenance of truck and trailer. Must keep truck and trailer in a clean and orderly condition. Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures at all times. Safely work around active equipment and changing site conditions in all weather Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Class A CDL (required) Doubles Endorsement (required) Clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Comfortable working outdoors year-round and around heavy equipment Strong attention to safety and detail Basic mechanical aptitude (filters, fluids, minor troubleshooting) Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Able to climb ladders to access fluids on heavy equipment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience operating belly dump, side dump, transfer trucks, or end dump trailers preferred. Experience operating around job sites (understanding of site traffic patterns, hazards, radio comms, etc.) What You Can Expect Daily local/regional travel to Central Oregon job sites (dispatch from Prineville each day) A hands-on role critical to keeping crews productive Immediate opening for the right candidate
