Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent time management skills. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Duties Operate and drive flatbed trucks. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or changes in delivery schedules. Utilize forklifts or other equipment as necessary for loading and unloading tasks. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Low-boy experience preferred. Experience in route driving and delivery driving is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic maintenance on vehicles as needed.
