Beemac Trucking | Nighttime Yard Jockey | $325/Shift Beemac Trucking is hiring a dependable, safety-focused Yard Jockey to support operations at our Koppel, PA manufacturing location and Ambridge, PA facility. This is a full-time, home-daily position responsible for safely organizing, moving, and inspecting tractors and trailers throughout the yard. A CDL-A is not required.

7:00 PM-7:00

AM Occasional Weekend Coverage:

Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM-7:00

AM Pay:

Flat $325 per 12-hour shift for both day and night shifts Home Daily Position Summary The Yard Jockey plays an important role in maintaining safe, organized, and efficient yard operations. This position moves tractors and trailers as directed, inspects equipment, identifies maintenance or safety concerns, and ensures compliance with Beemac Trucking, customer, DOT, FMCSA, and applicable safety requirements. The successful candidate will be dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Safely organize tractors and trailers throughout the yard based on operational needs. Move trucks and trailers as directed by the Driver Manager, Dispatch, or supervisor. Inspect trailers and equipment and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all Beemac Trucking, customer, DOT, FMCSA, and facility safety procedures. Maintain clear communication with Driver Management, Dispatch, customers, and internal teams. Complete assigned work safely, accurately, and efficiently. Support additional yard and operational responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications Clean driving record. CDL-A is not required. Ability to safely operate and maneuver commercial tractors and trailers within the yard. Ability to meet Beemac Trucking and applicable regulatory requirements. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions, customer procedures, and safety protocols. Ability to work independently with periodic supervision and direction. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. Ability to identify and promptly report equipment or safety concerns. Work Environment This position is located at an international, industry-leading manufacturing facility and involves working around: Steel products Flatbed trailers Commercial trucks Loading and staging areas Cranes Forklifts Heavy industrial equipment Employees must be comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, and icy conditions .
