CURBSIDE OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade J The Curbside Operator position is a nonexempt full time position. The Curbside Operator will report to the Collections Supervisor and or the Assistant Collections Supervisor. The Curbside Operator is responsible for the efficient collection of residential curbside recyclable material and the transportation of this material to the Recycling Processing Facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

(include, but are not limited to the following) Operate curbside truck with trailer Complete required paperwork for data entry in a timely fashion. Assist Curbside Helper with collection of curbside recyclable material. Assist Processing Supervisor and or Quality Control Tipping Supervisor when necessary Perform daily maintenance inspection on truck and trailer

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Be capable of physical labor Possess basic mechanical knowledge Posses a valid Class "B" PA driver's license Deal effectively with the public Must be able to make safe and responsible decisions. Must be able to work without direct supervision.

EDUCATION
