Heavy Rollback Driver Rob's Automotive and Collision - 5.0 Bristol, PA Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $120,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Customer service Load securement CDL DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Flatbed Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Duty Rollback Tow Truck Driver to safely transport vehicles and equipment using a rollback (flatbed) truck. Duties Operate a heavy-duty rollback (flatbed) tow truck to transport vehicles and equipment Safely load and unload vehicles, including inoperable or damaged units Secure vehicles using chains, straps, and wheel tie-downs Perform winching and recovery services when needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and equipment Maintain accurate logs, service records, and required documentation Respond to roadside assistance and accident scenes as dispatched Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding job status and updates Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies Reports any mechanical or safety problems to fleet manager and manager. Respond to all calls and jobs in a timely manner. Reports to dispatch any incidents or problems encountered while on the road. Keeps truck and associated equipment clean and in good working order. Keeps accurate records and logs of all activities including tow slips, IFTA reports, gas receipts, toll receipts and driving logs. Submits accurate and timely invoices for appropriate payment and processing. Maintains timely and consistent attendance. Attends regular driver meetings as requested for job and safety information. Adheres to all company procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Perform all other duties as assigned. Experience Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred for heavy-duty operations) Clean driving record and current DOT medical card (if applicable) Experience operating rollback/flatbed tow trucks preferred Knowledge of towing, recovery, and load securement techniques Ability to operate winches, wheel lifts, and towing equipment safely Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
