Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Driver to join our team in supporting civil infrastructure projects. This role involves operating various types of commercial trucks (triaxle- tandem), ensuring safe and efficient transportation of construction materials such as asphalt, stone, dirt etc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction machinery, safety regulations, and the demands of working on construction sites. This is start up business, we strive to be professional, co-operative and courteous to our clients and co-workers. We are willing to train if you are willing to learn. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks, (Tri-axles) adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols Transport construction materials such as bituminous materials, stone, dirt other supplies to job sites efficiently and on schedule Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and paving equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate logs of transportation activities, inspections, and adherence to safety procedures Follow all safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols to prevent accidents or injuries Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record in accordance with DOT regulations Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and equipment maintenance procedures a plus Familiarity with asphalt paving, hauling and related civil infrastructure work a plus Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic issues with trucks a plus but not required. Experience working on construction projects in civil infrastructure roles involving heavy equipment operation and material handling a plus. Strong adherence to safety regulations and protocols at all times during operations Physical ability to safely enter and exit the truck and work in demanding site environments Candidates who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and are looking to grow with the company which is Veteran owned please apply.
