Job Description

Growing Seasons Landscaping (GSL), a family-owned company serving the Greater Pittsburgh area, is seeking dedicated Snowplow Operators to join our team for the winter season. As a Snowplow Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and accessibility of commercial and residential properties during winter storms. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in challenging winter conditions. GSL offers a supportive work environment, flexible on-call scheduling, and opportunities for growth within the company. Responsibilities Operate snowplow trucks and salting equipment to clear snow and ice from parking lots, drive lanes, and designated areas. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation. Respond promptly to snow and ice events, including early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed. Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines while on the job. Work closely with the Landscape Foreman and Production Manager to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Qualifications Valid drivers license required (CDL is a plus). Previous experience operating snowplows or similar equipment preferred. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Ability to work long or irregular hours during winter storms. Must pass a drug screening.
