Job Description
Vacuum Truck Operator / CDL Driver Join a Team That Gets the Job Done At Cowboy Services, we don't just haul waste—we provide critical environmental and industrial services that keep the oil & gas, construction, utility, and industrial sectors moving. We're looking for dependable, hardworking CDL drivers who take pride in their work, put safety first, and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. What You'll Do As a Vacuum Truck Operator, you'll safely operate vacuum trucks and support a variety of environmental and industrial projects, including: Industrial cleaning and vacuum services Tank cleaning Hydro excavation Drill site and pit cleanouts Leachate and wastewater transportation Spill response and environmental cleanup Oil & gas production support General labor duties when needed to support the crew Every day is different, and you'll work alongside experienced operators on projects throughout West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and the surrounding region. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A or Class B vacuum trucks Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Complete required DOT logs and company paperwork Load, transport, and unload liquid and solid waste safely Operate pumps, hoses, valves, and vacuum systems Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures Keep equipment clean and well-maintained Work with supervisors and customers to complete jobs safely and efficiently Be available for occasional overtime, weekends, and emergency response work What We're Looking For Valid Class A or Class B CDL (preferred) Tanker endorsement required (or ability to obtain) Hazmat endorsement is a plus Clean driving record Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical labor Experience operating vacuum trucks, hydro excavation equipment, roll-off trucks, or other heavy equipment is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right person.
