Overview Join our dynamic team as a Class B CDL Truck Driver, where you will play a vital role in efficient collection and transportation. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate a variety of commercial trucks while ensuring safety and compliance with all traffic and hazardous materials regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial trucks while adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) and state transportation regulations Load, transport, and unload materials efficiently while following safety protocols and hazard materials regulations Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and mechanical components to ensure optimal performance and identify maintenance needs Follow established routes for collection, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries across designated areas Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, including route details, load weights, and service records Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs Comply with traffic laws and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents and ensure safe outdoor work environments Qualifications Valid CDL Class B license with air brake endorsement required; experience operating tri-axle Proven commercial truck driving experience with a strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols Mechanical knowledge related to heavy-duty trucks and routine maintenance procedures Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and proper load & unload procedures Excellent driving record demonstrating defensive driving skills and adherence to DOT regulations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in diverse environments Embark on a rewarding career that combines active outdoor work with meaningful community impact. $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
