Job Description

Bova Food Distributors is seeking dependable and professional CDL Class A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate tractor-trailers while delivering products to customer locations along assigned routes. Drivers are responsible for manually unloading and delivering a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies. Our drivers are an important part of the Bova Food Distributors team and play a key role in building strong customer relationships. A positive, professional, and friendly attitude is essential. By becoming familiar with each customer's operations, our drivers are better able to understand and meet their individual needs and expectations. Driver shifts may begin as early as 5:00 AM. This is a local, daytime delivery position with drivers home every night, allowing you to spend your evenings with your family.
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Must maintain a driving record that meets company insurability standards Must be able to perform touch-freight delivery duties, including repeatedly lifting, pushing, and moving products averaging 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds Must be flexible and available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Commercial driving experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of customer delivery experience preferred 6 months of hand truck experience preferred 6 months of food and beverage industry experience preferred 2 years of consistent work history preferred Applicants must successfully complete: Physical screening Drug screening Background check
