Job Description

NFI Industries Inc., a leading 3PL provider, is seeking professional CDL-A Truck Drivers to support our dedicated transportation network. In this role, you'll run regional and/or local routes hauling freight for major brands, ensuring safe, on-time pickups and deliveries. You'll perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and company safety standards, and use ELDs for accurate logging. Drivers interact with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers, representing NFI's safety-first, customer-focused culture while growing in a stable, technology-driven logistics environment. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailers for regional and/or local routes Transport and deliver freight on time following assigned schedules Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues Comply with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and ELD requirements Secure loads and ensure proper freight handling and documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and delivery records Represent NFI professionally, supporting a safety-first, customer-focused culture Required Skills CDL-A truck operation DOT safety compliance Electronic logging devices (ELD) use Defensive driving Freight handling and load securement Route planning and time management Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Bill of lading and shipping documentation Customer service in transportation Communication with dispatch and operations
