Class B CDL Driver Location:

$22-$30/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 4:00 AM until route completion (8-9.5 hour days) What will you be doing? The Class B CDL Driver will safely operate garbage collection trucks on residential and commercial routes while providing reliable customer service and following all DOT and company safety requirements. Operate rear-load garbage trucks; experience with front-load, side-load, or roll-off trucks is a plus. Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle safety inspections. Safely navigate assigned routes and operate automated/automated lifting equipment. Assist with loading bulk and large-item pickups as needed. Transport and dispose of waste at designated facilities. Complete required route sheets, work orders, and other documentation. Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding delays, hazards, or service issues. Report damaged containers or equipment and maintain basic truck cleanliness and upkeep. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies. Job Requirements Valid CDL Class B or higher with no air brake restriction . Valid Medical Certificate. At least 1 year of commercial vehicle operating experience. Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements. Waste industry experience preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures. Ability to work early mornings and outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment screening. #IND123
