This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the vital link between our operations and our valued customers. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, managing deliveries, and ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service. Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks, courier vans, and other commercial driving equipment to complete deliveries across designated routes. Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods. Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience. Follow planned routes accurately, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to ensure timely deliveries. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock movement, and maintaining organized loading areas. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, pickups, route logs, and delivery documentation for accountability and compliance. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong background in route driving and customer service. Valid driver's license appropriate for driver requirements; clean driving record preferred. Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy items safely during loading/unloading processes; physical stamina is essential. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred) and pallet jacks for efficient cargo handling. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and best practices for heavy lifting and moving goods. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
