Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris across construction sites. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, equipment safety procedures, and construction utility work will ensure smooth operations and uphold safety standards on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects while maintaining a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. Duties Safely operate dump trucks in accordance with federal construction safety regulations and company policies. Transport construction materials, debris, and equipment efficiently between sites and designated locations. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and related machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with construction utility work, including utility locating and supporting excavation or grading activities as needed. Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely material placement. Operate additional heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, or Caterpillar machinery to support excavation and paving tasks. Follow all safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and construction site protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving within construction or related industries. Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of trucks and heavy equipment. Construction site experience with familiarity in excavation, grading, paving, and utility work. Ability to operate loaders, excavators (including backhoes), and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures. Strong understanding of construction utility locating techniques and site safety protocols. Physical ability to perform manual tasks associated with heavy equipment operation and site work. Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
