This role involves providing efficient and professional delivery services, primarily utilizing box trucks and other commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, safety, and timely deliveries. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own schedule while ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations. Load and unload items using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting as needed. Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to scheduled delivery times and routes. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries. Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages or freight, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times. Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving heavy lifting and route driving. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driver or similar certifications preferred. Ability to operate a box truck, forklift, pallet jack, and manual transmission vehicles. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients. Physical ability to lift heavy items safely and move packages efficiently. Prior experience in warehouse environments or commercial driving is a plus. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Ability to work independently as an independent contractor while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. No CDL required, must have experience Home daily Weekends off
