Job Summary Proven Experienced candidates only! Will be road tested Fast paced environment! 26ft Box Truck. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Non CDL Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to transport goods, materials, and packages to various destinations. Your focus will be on ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety, customer service, and compliance with all traffic and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving, manual handling, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Safely operate a box truck for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition before each shift. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or route planning tools to maximize productivity. Load and secure shipments properly to prevent damage during transit, ensuring compliance with weight handling standards. Deliver packages directly to customers' locations, providing excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and digital records of all routes completed. Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes. Experience Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable. Proven commercial driving experience, specifically with box trucks or similar vehicles. Experience in delivery driving or courier services demonstrating punctuality and reliability. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not required; training can be provided if necessary. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently during load/unload processes. Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous. Strong understanding of adhering to traffic regulations, safety protocols, and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards related to weight handling in the workplace. No prior convictions!
