CDL Class A Truck Driver - Local | $26-$28/Hour | Home Daily Suncoast Drivers is hiring experienced CDL Class A Truck Drivers for a local, home-daily driving position delivering and picking up trailers containing recycled wooden pallets at customer facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, and plant locations. This is primarily a drop-and-hook, no-touch freight position with automatic day cab equipment. This position is located in Biglerville, PA.

Pay & Schedule Pay:

$26-$28 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

5 days per week Available schedules: Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday, or Sunday-Thursday Flexible start time: Dispatch/start times available between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM Typical shift: 10-12 hours Expected hours: 50+ hours per week Home Daily / Local Routes Driving radius: Up to 150 miles Typical stops: 5-8 stops per route CDL Class A Driver Responsibilities Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer on local routes Pick up loaded trailers from customer facilities and deliver them to the plant Deliver trailers containing repaired/recycled wooden pallets to customer facilities Perform primarily drop-and-hook and no-touch freight operations Deliver to and pick up from various warehouses, distribution centers, plants, and customer facilities Operate automatic day cab trucks pulling 53-foot dry van and/or flatbed trailers Complete delivery and pickup paperwork at customer locations Verify pallet deliveries and trailer retrievals Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify vehicle defects Report truck and equipment conditions after trips Maintain accurate ELD/driver logs in accordance with

FMCSA/DOT
