We are seeking an experienced, engaging Instructor of
OSHA 10 & 30
General Industry to join our instructional team on a part time, as needed basis. In this role, you will deliver high quality, compliance focused safety training to adult learners across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and industrial environments. This position plays a vital role in supporting high demand industry sectors by strengthening workplace safety culture, improving regulatory compliance, reducing incident risk, and preparing both new and incumbent workers with essential safety knowledge. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of OSHA standards, hazard recognition, and workplace safety practices within general industry settings. This instructor serves as a key partner to employers seeking to meet compliance requirements while investing in the professional development and protection of their workforce.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer status for General Industry required
  • Completion of OSHA 511 and
OSHA 501
  • 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, industrial safety, logistics, or related field
Licensing Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License (A valid driver's license is required. Travel within the Central Pennsylvania region may be necessary.)
  • Please note that this position is required to comply with PA Act 15.

Hiring Range:
Varies Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience teaching or training adult learners
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations including hazard communication, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, PPE, electrical safety, and powered industrial truck standards
Job Specific Task List:
Facilitate Instruction
  • (Essential) Deliver engaging, high quality OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 General Industry courses
  • (Essential) Reinforce hazard identification, accident prevention, and regulatory compliance
  • (Essential) Ensure all OSHA Outreach Training Program requirements are met, including required contact hours and documentation
  • (Essential) Provide meaningful, timely feedback and support to learners
  • (Essential) Instructional Preparation & Administration
  • (Essential) Maintain accurate course rosters and OSHA documentation
  • (Essential) Submit required OSHA Outreach Training reports and maintain trainer authorization status
  • (Essential) Adapt instructional materials to align with employer specific safety needs while maintaining OSHA compliance
  • (Essential) Performs other duties as assigned.
