Clemens Food Group is hiring Live Haul Drivers to safely transport livestock from local farms to our food production facility. As a Live Haul Driver , you will operate a tractor-trailer with a livestock trailer, work directly with farmers and dispatch, and play an essential role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Home daily —sleep in your own bed after every shift Competitive, activity-based compensation Consistent, year-round work Local and regional farm routes A safety-focused work environment Support from an experienced dispatch and operations team Stable employment with an established food production company Work that directly supports farmers, food production, and local communities What You'll Do Safely operate a tractor-trailer and livestock trailer between farms and Clemens Food Group facilities Travel to assigned farms and load live pigs according to established safety and animal-welfare procedures Maintain control of the vehicle, trailer, and livestock throughout the transportation process Safely and efficiently unload livestock upon arrival Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Identify and report equipment defects, maintenance concerns, or safety issues Verify that invoices, transportation documents, and other required paperwork are accurate and complete Communicate professionally with dispatchers, farmers, plant personnel, and other drivers Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, biosecurity procedures, and animal-handling standards Keep assigned equipment clean, secure, and in safe operating condition Respond appropriately to changing routes, weather conditions, farm schedules, and plant operating needs Minimum Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A Air brake endorsement At least one year of tractor-trailer driving experience Safe driving history and acceptable motor vehicle record Ability to meet all DOT and company driver qualification requirements Ability to safely operate a manual or automatic tractor-trailer, depending on assigned equipment Ability to read, understand, and complete transportation documents and inspection reports Ability to communicate clearly with dispatch, farmers, and facility personnel Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs Physical and Work Environment Requirements This is an active driving position that includes work outside the cab and in agricultural environments.

Drivers must be able to:

Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds Occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds Climb into and out of tractors and livestock trailers Stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and work on uneven or slippery surfaces Work outdoors in changing temperatures and weather conditions Work around livestock, farm equipment, manure, dust, odors, and other conditions commonly found in agricultural environments Follow required sanitation, biosecurity, personal protective equipment, and animal-welfare procedures Who Thrives in This Role?
