Job Description
Overview We are looking to hire a Class A CDL driver for our tri axle dump truck to haul gravel and dirt within the local area. Our company works in the concrete, masonry and excavation industry and this position may have other duties within this scope of work as needed. Responsibilities Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo details. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed. Adhere to company policies regarding safety and compliance. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of truck driving regulations. Ability to pass drug screenings as required by company policy. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. 2 references (professional or personal)
