Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Drive a light or medium-duty vehicle, such as a pick-up truck, flatbed or box truck with or without a trailer primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise or to deliver packages. Will load and unload vehicle. In most cases the vehicle has a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), however may operate a vehicle in excess of 26,000 pounds GVW. Provide a high level of customer service. Will assist in other duties at the branch, including warehouse and yard inventory responsibilities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s) Drive vehicles with capacities under three tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations, such as contractor work sites and industrial yards. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle, hold a valid driver license, meet Company driver standards and must meet Company insurability requirements. Load and unload trucks and/or trailers. Properly secure loads in accordance with state/federal regulation and common safety practices. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers. Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries. Driver- April 2019, Page 2 Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)Experience:
