Duties Operate heavy-duty wrecker equipment to recover, load, and transport large vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, and equipment. Navigate routes to service customers and mitigate accident scenes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Transport automobiles and freight securely via automobile transportation methods. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and recovery operations while maintaining a professional attitude. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license. Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations including FMCSA and DOT. Skilled in operating various types of heavy machinery such as flatbeds and tractor-trailers with manual transmissions. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, route efficiency, and compliance with DOT regulations.
