Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Perform basic mechanical vehicle repairs and diagnostics to troubleshoot issues before towing or during recovery operations. Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Conduct vehicle load & unload procedures with precision, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto the tow truck. Assist with vehicle recovery towing, roadside assistance, and accident scene management while adhering to safety standards. Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and incident reports for accountability and compliance. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and managing conflict professionally when needed. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and basic vehicle troubleshooting. Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving is a bonus but not necessary. Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, especially related to car towing and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers. Skilled in driving manual transmission vehicles. Operating tow trucks such as flatbeds or vehicle recovery units isn't required as we are willing to train the right candidate. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks. Strong conflict management skills combined with excellent customer service abilities. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards at all times.
