Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Over the Road Truck Driver that is home weekends to join our team. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism while transporting goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to all regulations.

MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE IF NOT ALONG FREIGHT ROUTES!

Duties Operate and drive a tractor-trailer over long distances to deliver freight. Ensure timely delivery of loads. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered during transport. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road. Skills Proven verifiable experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Proficiency in operating flatbed and stepdecks with tarps. Familiarity with route driving and logistics planning for efficient travel. Ability to load and unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment as needed. Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during transport. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
