Box Truck Driver

This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, verifying cargo accuracy and securing loads properly Navigate assigned routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and optimizing delivery times Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and route reports for accountability and compliance purposes Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details or resolve issues promptly Assist with special deliveries such as refrigerated goods or tanker loads when required Skills Proven experience in truck driving, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles Knowledge of manual transmission operation and handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable Strong understanding of load & unload procedures and freight handling safety protocols Ability to navigate routes confidently using GPS or route planning tools Familiarity with forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo when necessary Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to transportation regulations Physical stamina to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections regularly Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a real impact!
