Overview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Landscape Crew Lead / Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading a crew in mowing, landscape maintenance, cleanups, and installation work while safely operating company trucks and towing trailers to and from job sites. The Crew Lead / Driver works alongside the crew each day and helps ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to Malvern Lawn Care's standards. Crew Leads serve as the eyes and ears of the company in the field, leading by example and communicating clearly with both the crew and management. Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and prepared for the 6:30 AM morning meeting.
• Review and understand daily schedules, job details, and assigned work.
• Drive company trucks and safely tow trailers to and from job sites.
• Lead and work alongside a landscape crew on mowing, cleanups, maintenance, and installation projects.
• Delegate daily responsibilities and help keep the crew working safely and efficiently.
• Accurately track time and job progress in Aspire.
• Monitor work quality and ensure Malvern Lawn Care standards are met.
• Listen to crew members and communicate customer, property, or job-site concerns to management.
• Safely operate tools and equipment and ensure crew members use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with training and supporting new employees.
• Communicate daily progress, delays, and job-site issues to the Head Foreman.
• Report broken, damaged, or unsafe equipment promptly.
• Fuel trucks, remove trash and debris, and load necessary materials and equipment for the next workday.
• Complete required daily DOT truck checks and weekly fluid checks.
• Report directly to the Head Foreman. Qualifications and Competencies
• 3+ years of landscaping, groundskeeping, or lawn care experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a crew.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving work trucks and towing trailers.
• Strong working knowledge of lawn care and general landscape maintenance; tree care knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic irrigation and horticultural practices.
• Ability to perform hands-on outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and able to lead by example. What We Offer
