Job Description

Adcock Transport is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Yard Tech, Shuttle & Recovery Driver to join our team. This position involves moving equipment for shuttle, service, recovery, and repair purposes. No cargo hauling is required — this role is strictly for equipment transport and yard operations. You will operate commercial vehicles including 9-car, 5-car, and step-deck trailers while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role requires travel and the ability to work flexible hours based on operational demands.
Pay:
$30 per hour (Overtime likely)Paid Bi-Weekly Key Responsibilities Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently Perform yard tech duties: prepping and moving equipment within yard locations Shuttle and recover equipment as needed across various locations Follow all dispatch directions and company procedures Maintain accurate logs and comply with all DOT regulations Drive up to 11 hours per day and work up to 14 hours per day when required Climb ladders to access top decks of equipment Bend, reach, stand, and sit for extended periods Requirements & Qualifications Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience Acceptable MVR (No more than 2 violations in the past 3 years) Acceptable PSP report and ability to pass all DOT inspections Must pass a background check Strong understanding of all DOT regulations related to property-carrying vehicles Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently General mechanical skills required Ability to drive both standard and manual transmission vehicles Must be physically capable of reaching, pulling, pushing, lifting, sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders for several hours per day Good geographical knowledge and navigation skills Reliable, safety-minded, and able to follow directions
