In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and other construction or cargo to various job sites. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to navigate diverse routes will ensure timely deliveries and efficient cargo handling. This position offers an exciting opportunity for drivers who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to maintaining high safety standards. $1000 sign on bonus. Duties Operate dump trucks equipped with manual transmissions, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Load and unload freight accurately, following proper truck loading and unloading procedures while adhering to logistics cargo handling protocols. Navigate using GPS systems to reach delivery destinations promptly while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards. Maintain vehicle inspection logs, report any mechanical issues promptly, and perform routine manual handling tasks for cargo management. Follow all safety guidelines related to refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker operations, and tractor-trailer driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules, route updates, and cargo requirements. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety procedures for truck loading/unloading. Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or tractor-trailers preferred. Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks safely. Strong navigation skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning on OTR routes. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, load securement, and hazard awareness. Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment while maintaining high safety standards.

$1,200.00 - $3,000.00 per week
