Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing excellent customer service during roadside assistance. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbeds. The Tow Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and manual transmission vehicles, to transport disabled or improperly parked vehicles. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the tow truck to ensure it is in safe working condition. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs during roadside assistance. Perform basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs as needed to ensure vehicles are safely transported. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including vehicle condition and any incidents that occur during transport. Assist with loading and unloading vehicles onto the tow truck while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with dispatchers to receive assignments and report status updates. Experience Proven experience as a Tow Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs. Experience operating various types of tow trucks, including flatbed models, is highly desirable. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on communication and problem-solving. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
