Job Description

Atlantic Recovery Services Atlantic Recovery Services is seeking a qualified CDL Environmental Truck Operator to join our growing team serving the utility, oil & gas, and environmental industries. This position involves operating specialized equipment such as vacuum trucks, roll-offs, tankers, and other commercial vehicles in support of industrial cleaning, waste transportation, and emergency spill response operations. We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused driver who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working in field environments. Manual transmission experience is required. Responsibilities Operate a wide range of CDL vehicles, including vacuum trucks, roll-offs, tankers, dump trucks, and other specialized equipment Safely transport non-hazardous and hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and environmental regulations Assist with loading and unloading materials, hoses, equipment, and waste containers Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete DVIR reports Maintain vehicles and equipment in clean and proper working condition Support field crews with industrial cleaning, spill response, and environmental service operations Respond to emergency response jobs, including after-hours and weekend work when required Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and required paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally Assist with basic equipment setup and site cleanup as needed Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Tanker endorsement required Hazardous Materials Endorsement (H) Ability to operate manual transmission Previous experience operating CDL trucks (vac truck experience preferred) Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices Ability to work overtime and respond to emergency call-outs when needed Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as required Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Clean driving record with no major violations or preventable accidents Preferred (Not Required) OSHA 10 or
OSHA 40 HAZWOPER
